This interpretation centre is located at the historical and archeological site of the Château-Richer convents. Visit the permanent exhibitions on the history of one of the first French settlements in North America. Attractions include the excavated foundations of the first two convents (built in 1694 and 1830) that can be seen inside the convent built in 1907, a recreated classroom from 1912 and temporary exhibitions on the cultural identity of the Beaupré Coast.

Hours: June to September, Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. October to May, Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations required for groups.
Admission: adult: $6; senior: $5; student: $4; child (17 years and under): free. Call for group rates.
Closed: Closed from December 19 to January 6.
