Discover the first cheese made in the Americas! This handmade cheese, only produced on the Isle of Orléans, has been enjoyed for centuries. Hosts in period costume and a covered terrace to enjoy cheese from the island or elsewhere across Québec. Cheese curds available on weekends. At our shop, an impressive variety of local food products, including our exclusive iced cheese, cheesecake, homemade spruce beer and unique cheese markers.
Hours: Cheese shop open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from early June to early September, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until mid-October. Group Tour<@$P> in French for 20 people and more about the history of cheese from the Isle of Orleans and manufacturing. Reservations required.
Closed: Cheese of the Isle of Orleans is available year round in several outlets throughout the province (see our website).
