As part of the 150th Anniversary of Confederation, the Quebec National Capital Commission will plant bulbs from the official tulip of the festivities, near the old stables at Bois-de-Coulonge Park. Named Canada 150, this tulip is reminiscent of the unifoliate with its white and red dress. In May 2017, the flowering of this colourful mass will be a nod to the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Confederation of Canada.
