After making Festival history in 2010 with an outstanding scenic extravaganza and a breathtaking performance, it would be an understatement to say that the return of singer Till Lindemann and his gang was expected on the big stage of the Plains of Abraham. While a visit from this German band is quite rare in North America, outrageousness will likely be on the agenda once again through their industrial heavy metal, which is also melodious and unifying. Created in the early 1990s, Rammstein is now the pantheon of metal, with their provocative lyrics, pyrotechnical megalomania, and a reputation onstage for being a necessary rite of passage for thrill addicts.
