Try the first type of cheese made on the continent, but now only made on Île d'Orléans. Prepared with a recipe brought by early New France settlers. Staff in period costume. Try cheese made on the island or elsewhere in Québec on our covered terrace. At the onsite shop, you will also find an impressive variety of local products, including homemade spruce beer. Savour a piece of history!
Schedule: Cheese shop open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from early June to early September, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until mid-October. Group Tour<@$P> in French for 20 people and more about the history of cheese from the island of Orleans and manufacturing. Reservations required.
Closed: Cheese of the Isle of Orleans is available year round in several outlets throughout the province (see our website).
