Part of a complex considered one of the finest examples of conventional architecture in North America, this magnificent art and history museum displays the many artefacts owned by the oldest teaching order in the country. The collection of rare books held by the museum may be consulted at no charge. The convent gardens, a secret kept hidden for almost four centuries in the heart of Old Québec, are open to the public in the summer.
