Useful informations

This reserve, which is the pride of the county of Portneuf, covers some 775 square kilometres (484 square miles). The hilly terrain is dotted with over 375 bodies of water, including lakes, rivers and waterfalls, including Marmite Falls. Winter activities: snowmobiling (60 km/37 miles of trails), cross-country skiing (58 km/34 miles of trails), snowshoeing, ice fishing, nature walks and sledding. Summer activities: fishing, hunting, trapping (10 zones), rock climbing, rafting, canoeing (65 km/40 miles) and camping.

Schedule and Details

Hours: mid-May to mid-March.

Admission: fees are charged for several activities, and reservations may be required.

Closed: Closed from mid-March to mid-May and from November 7 to mid-December.
