Beautiful Montmorency Falls Park is just a few minutes from downtown Québec City. The waterfalls are 83 m (272') tall, a full 30 m (99') higher than Niagara Falls. Open year-round, the groomed footpaths (0.5 to 3 km/0.3 to 1.9 mi.) throughout the park lead to vantage points where you can admire the waterfalls and sites of interest. Follow the path along the cliff to the suspended bridge and feel the water roar under your feet as it plunges far below. A gorgeous view! If you want some great exercise in the summer, take the 487-step panoramic staircase running up the side of the cliff.

Schedule and Details

Hours: cable car, parking and gift shops are open daily from December 26, 2016, to January 3, 2017; from January 28 to February 19, 2017; and from April 29 to October 22, 2017. Open Saturday and Sunday from February 20 to April 29, 2017. Via ferrata and double zip line: mid-May to mid-October 2017. Closed from January 4 to 27 and from October 23 to December 25, 2017.

Hours: may be modified for groups. Opening hours vary, depending on the season, and are subject to change without notice. Note that the site is open year-round.

Closed: December 24 and 25.
