In the fall of 2015, Québec City’s old Colisée de Québec was replaced by a brand new multipurpose stadium. In the year since, the Videotron stage has been graced by the likes of Metallica, Madonna, Cirque du Soleil, Muse, Céline Dion and Pearl Jam. Hockey fans, in the meantime, have been treated to local team Les Remparts’ regular season games as well as special NHL matches. Below, you’ll find practical info to help you plan your Videotron Centre experience.

Places to Stay near the Videotron Centre

Vanier

Family-style restaurant options abound in the Vanier area, which is best navigated by car. Here are a few family classics:

  • Pacini
  • Restaurant Normandin
  • Pizza Royale
  • St-Hubert Rotisserie

If you’re in a rush or on a budget, there are plenty of fast food options: McDonald’s, Thaïzone, Pizza Hut, Tim Hortons, and more.

Limoilou

Limoilou is a vibrant neighbourhood with a great selection of local restaurants. Take a stroll along 3e Avenue and see what catches your fancy. We recommend:

  • La Salsa (Mexican cuisine)
  • Les Fistons (neighbourhood bistro)
  • Soupe et Cie (soups and tartares)
  • Miyagi Bistro Thaï et Sushi

Saint-Roch

Sandwiched between Limoilou and Old Québec, Saint-Roch is a great place to grab a bite if you’re in the area. Most restaurants are on Saint-Joseph and Saint-Vallier, two of the main shopping streets.

  • Le Cercle (restaurant, bar, and concert venue)
  • Korrigane (craft beer and restaurant)
  • Le Clocher Penché Bistrot (fresh local fare)
  • Table (Québec-style bistro)

Getting to the Videotron Centre

By Car:
There are 4,300 parking spots onsite at the Videotron Centre. They cost $8 to $15 each, depending on the event (cash only at time of publication).

Public Transit:
The 802 Metrobus stops at the Videotron Centre and runs every 10 to 15 minutes. The 801 and several local routes will take you within walking distance. For a handy trip planner and complete bus schedules, see the RTC (Réseau de transport de la Capitale) website.

Direct Shuttles for Special Events:
For some special events, RTC runs a shuttle service to the Videotron Centre from a number of central hotels and big free parking lots. More info in French only here.
