Pick a colour: blonde, white, amber, brown, or black. Now pick a style: lager, pilsner, ale, Belgian, or stout. Now come to Québec City and try them all: local brews in every shade and style to please even the finest of palates.
Microbreweries have come a long way in recent years, and Québec City is far from an exception. Personally, I’m pretty thrilled with the “drink local” movement—discovering a new brewery is a pretty good time. I love nosing out the flavours and subtleties of different beers, knowing they’re all crafted with pride by local brewers. Some brewpubs even pair their beers with delicious terroir cuisine. Heaven!

There is also the Festival des brasseurs et artisans de Québec in Limoilou in September.
